Job Summary
Harold Sears Enterprises, Inc., is a nationwide contractor specializing in retail construction. We are seeking applications for a hard-working, traveling Superintendent. Candidates should have experience with project management, construction, organizational skills, and the proven ability to complete projects on time and within the budget.
Responsibilities

Coordinate with project manager, from project set-up to complete

Maintain daily progress notes

Schedule all company employees and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks

Purchase all necessary tools, equipment, and materials needed

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and RFIs
-
Communicate and enforce company safety policies

Additional Requirements
-
2+ years supervision experience with a general contractor in the commercial industry.

Position will require up to 95% travel and night shift work.

Prior carpentry and equipment operation experience is highly desired.

Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a high-pressure environment.

Excellent organizational skills

Be able to communicate properly and in a professional manner to a variety of individuals including architects, owners, subcontractors, and employees.

Must be able to read and understand construction documents, including blueprints and plan-o-grams.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet is a definite plus.

Job Summary
Qualified candidates must have experience in finish carpentry such as scribing and installing molding, trim and cabinets. Additionally this position will be involved with all aspects of finish carpentry, store fixture installation and site work and must be able to interact and effectively communicate with others.
